Is Tracking Macros Really Necessary?
I thoroughly believe that tracking, at least for a while, is incredibly helpful and necessary to learn what foods are made of as well as serving sizes!! For example, I'll never forget the times where I learned what an actual serving size of peanut butter actually was (yikes on that one) or how quickly certain foods added up in carbs and fats (girl scout cookies, milkshakes, pizza, alcohol)! I find that tracking is the eye opening experience the majority of people need to have for a period of time to learn how to be honest about what they are choosing to take in and maybe learn what some better options are to help keep it all balanced! My personal goal for everyone is to learn how to track so they can learn how to live without tracking!
